Bedford is currently in their first year of a five year 1:1 rollout. They were recently featured in Tech & Learning magazine regarding their 1:1 program.

Join us for a great day of learning that will focus on:

Featured Keynote: Jason Markey
Principal East Leyden High School
Franklin Park, Illinois

Jason Markey was named principal at East Leyden High School starting in the 2012-13 school year after previously serving the district both as an assistant principal and as a social studies teacher. Jason helped lead a district initiative to move the Leyden School District to 1:1, with every student issued a Google Chromebook. This past year Jason became a Google Certified Teacher with the goal of continuing his own growth as a learner first. Additionally, this year Jason was named as a 2014 Digital Principal of the Year by NASSP. Jason believes strongly in the power of the web as a social connector and continuously looks for opportunities to learn from and collaborate with others.
